eep within the caverns below the Covenant, the gentle babbling of the hot springs recedes as you shuffle down a narrow tunnel through the chill darkness. The lantern in your hands is comforting as menacing shadows dance across the looming rock around you, and only the sound of your feet upon the cold stone breaks the silence. The passage twists onward, and as you hunch down to avert a low-hanging rock, a foul smell greets your nose... garlic, sweat, or perhaps the stench of something decaying in a nearby recess. Suddenly the flickering light of your lantern betrays the crimson glow of two piercing eyes ahead of you, and your breath halts. As you anxiously peer ahead, the shadowy form of a cat darts away across a woven rug covering the cavern floor beyond you. It bounds into an alcove and vanishes from view. Just as you take a faltering step forward, a growling voice from deep within the alcove calmly speaks...

"What's that Ignus, someone is here to see us? Hmm, I hope they have something important to tell me."

You take a deep breath of the rank air, and stride into the room...
