lothilde Auswthaite is twin sister to Gladys Austhwaite, and daughter to John Austhwaite of Jerbiton, supreme of the covenant, patriarch of the Austhwaite family, and lord of Austhwaite Manor. In addition, in 1225 she became wife to Baelthornon of Bonisagus. Although unGifted, she showed an interest in the Hermetic Order, and with John's blessing she became a Redcap. All this has helped to further cement Corona Montis' Hermetic prestige and Austhwaite Manor's mundane power.
In 1227, she gave birth to no less than four children: Rachel, Abigail, Daniel, and Collwen. While Daniel was snatched away by the hag Gelta, fortunately he was returned by her husband before she had even had a chance to realize he was gone. Clothilde is Ann's Companion character.
